Leisure Lanes Pursuit of Pins: Scotch Doubles Tournament

Time: 10:30am start time, registration opens 9:30am

Format:

• Scotch Doubles: Two-player teams alternate shots within a single game.
• 5-game qualifier for all participating teams.
• Bowled on a sport shot oil pattern

Entry Fee:

• $50 per person $100 per team
• Breakdown ($75 prize fund, $25 lineage and expenses).

Team Composition:

• Each team consists of two players.
• Players alternate shots within a game.

Qualifying Round:

• All teams compete in a 5 game qualifier.
• Scoring based on total pinfall.
• Top 4 teams with the highest pinfall advance to the Step Ladder Finals.

Step Ladder Finals:

• The finals consist of a step ladder format with the top 4 teams.
• Lower-seeded teams must beat the higher-seeded team twice to advance.
• Higher-seeded teams need to beat lower seeded team to advance.

Lane Courtesy:

• Teams must observe proper lane courtesy, allowing opponents to bowl without disruption.
• Be ready to bowl when it's your turn to maintain a steady pace of play.

Tiebreakers:

• In the case of a tie during the qualifier or finals, a one-frame roll-off will determine the winner.

Scoring:

• Standard bowling scoring rules apply.
• Each player's shot alternates within a frame.

Sportsmanship:

• Maintain a spirit of fair play and good sportsmanship.
• Any disruptive behavior may result in disqualification.

Tournament Director's Decisions:

• The Tournament Director's decisions are final and binding.
